Papi y la beba

Que Felicidad me da tenerla en mis brazos. Sus pequenos gritos, su sonrisa dulce y sus grandes ojos hacen mi existencia un paraíso en la tierra.

Esta semana, a Alejandra le esta saliendo su primer diente. Que lindo.. Crecen tan rapido. En un abrir y cerrar de ojos.

My First Father's Day

Yesterday it was my day. Who would think I would ever had a day, How could this happen?
My wife and daugher celebrated me. I got calls from my mom, my brothers and my sister. I guess that's how my dad felt. At the end, It was about giving it all for the ones you Love.
The tragedy of the story is that I couldn't share this moment with him. I sometimes think that he would have been very happy to see me now, to meet his grand daughter Alejandra, and to realize that his sacrifice was not int vain.
I find myself thinking what would he do in this or that situation....
Finaly i was happy to read a card from my brother Mauro. he said that he was proud and that dad would be very proud of my accomplishments too.
it's good to be acknowledged once in while.

3 Years After...

Hoy se cumplen 3 años de la muerte de mi papá. Nunca te olvidamos


"Golpes como el odio de Dios...Como si ante ellos..la rezaca de todo lo sufrido se emposara en el alma...Yo nose."

Nunca pude entender el significado de este poema tan famoso.
Siendo recitado en el colegio año tras año por muchos companeros de clase y yo mismo, su significado paso totalmente desapercibido. Quien iba a pensar que me golpearia en la cabeza hace poco mas de dos anios. Todavia me parece ayer, que lo vi, que escuche su risa y me dijo que saldriamos de todos los problemas que teniamos. Nunca pense que despues de sobrevivir la tormenta solo nosotros emergeriamos del tunel y el quedo atras dando su vida por nosotros.

It's been a month

My baby was one month old last week. This is a late post, but it helps me make the point of how fast kids grow. My life has changed deeply, and those huge eyes and smile are the one thing I yern to see at the end of my day at work.

Dear daughter. It's almost that time, and your mother and I can't wait to meet you. We long to have you in our arms and finally be part of your life. We have great expectations for your future. The Baby's room is ready :)

Decorating is not for everyone. Consuelo and I spent 3 days fixing the babys room with the help of her Dad. It was hard work. But It looks so nice. I think it looks so much better than our own bedroom :)
